Welcome! If you are new to this blog, I want to welcome you as you begin to read this page. I do want to be clear. I am a mental health therapist who specializes in professional women who are leaders as in positions such as management, supervisors, entrepreneurs, and just hard-working women in general who struggle with stress, anxiety, and trauma-related symptoms and behaviors.
I am not a business coach
Over the course of the last few months, I continue to receive requests asking me to write more blog articles regarding streamlining business and simplifying life. So far I’ve provided 6 Tools for Professional Women to improve health and wellness, followed by 6 More tools to help relieve stress.

Streamline Meaning
Streamlining means removing a task or reducing your workload to ease system processes in your business operations and increase productivity and recreational time in your daily life.
Transcription
Otter.ai
I was introduced to the Otter.ai app by my friend, who shared how easy it became to write out her meeting notes with the use of this app. After I sampled Otter.ai, there was no turning back. Otter.ai is an app you can utilize to transcribe meetings or videos. You can also export the transcription or export just the audio then share it if needed.
For transparency, I utilize the free version, but there is also a Pro version where you can obtain even more benefits. You don’t have to be physically present in the room when using Otter.ai! Let’s say I am transcribing a video. I simply turn the video on, click the record button on the Otter.ai app and leave it be. When I return the discussion is transcribed.
When the transcription is done you can review it and make edits as needed. You can also add the names of the speakers and use time stamps. When I post videos on my Youtube channel, I simply copy and paste the transcription for the auto-sync captions. It’s as simple as that!
When I attend meetings or create a video the Otter.ai app has been such a helpful tool.

Onestream Live is a great system that has the ability to host live or pre-recorded videos and distribute them to multiple social media platforms.

Fax Service
eFax
Unfortunately, I don’t have a referral or affiliate link for eFax, but I would still love to share how eFax has helped my business. eFax is a faxing system where you can send and receive a fax, no fax machine is necessary. You can choose to send and receive faxes via your email. Or you can simply log into the eFax dashboard and send/receive faxes.
There is also an option to send/ receive faxes privately. Most recently they have added the ability to sign documents via their service.

Years ago when I became serious about budgeting, I moved my phone system to MetroPCS. Why? Because MetroPCS does not quire a contract. Plus, I was tired of utilizing phone services that displayed one cost for my phone plan, but I was billed twice that amount. If you want consistency with price, then MetroPCS is where it’s at.
